Poetreat - Write quick and simple bites of poetry App Reviews

This is a simple app which is helpful but not intrusive. Best for traditional poetry. You choose the rhyme scheme, and the app suggests rhymes at the appropriate places, plus gives a syllable count for each line.

This is a great app for jotting down ideas while trying different rhyme schemes. I only wish there was a better way to backup like with iCloud or something. Theres no obvious way to know its backed up other than the spinning gear when its happening.

I would give this application a 5-star rating however, there is a bit of an issue with the application. When I type a poem and the words "go off the page" there is no way of reading those words. Maybe you should have it where the text wraps. Once that small issue is fix I will change to 5-star.

I payed to save my poems and it did nothing but brutally destroy what used to be words in a mirage of glitches and worthlessness.

The account management and sync services in this application are horrible. Ive had several documents lost on the same device, and none of my documents sync across devices as advertised. I paid for the in app purchase to enable syncing and saving and neither works consistently.

The first few poems I wrote were lost. When I wrote them, they showed up in the saved list but then, a few hours later, they just disappeared. I purchased the upgrade for 99 cents, but it didnt change the app. I still cant find a menu to share poems on Facebook. I wrote the developer a couple days ago and still havent heard back from him. Not a good app, poor support.

Horrible horrible horrible… all is lost. Everything you think is saved is lost. No features. Upset my 99 cents is gone.

Amazing app... Except that it glitches and DOESNT SAVE ANYTHING. Fix this and Id love to use this more often.

Great concept but it doesnt save anything. Ive lost too much work on this useless app. I wish there were something like it that actually SAVED your WORK!

This app isnt worth the time, space, or dollar it requires. Its unreliable. There isnt a "save" option so the only way to save is to get out of what youre writing and hope for the best which honestly, rarely happens. I have to copy and paste into my iPhone notes to ensure I dont lose what Ive written. Itll also cut out the ends of my poems like theres a line limit or something (but it doesnt indicate this). Its all just too sketchy and the technicalities obviously havent truly been worked on. The format is visually appealing and the idea is nice but its not worth it to me.

Ok. Seriously wtaf. What the actual f. I had more than a couple of dope rhymes I was stoked about, then the app loses all but one. I try again, loses my work again. Try to login with Facebook to see if that will fix the problem, the app freezes. So I delete it and reinstall it which usually fixes buggy apps. Then when its back up, Ive lost my in app purchase and now I need to pay more to have the features I already paid for. Nice job. I demand a refund.

Lost words on my work ... Half the things I wrote are not even there... Its upsetting and it is a waste of a dollar ...

This stinks I was working on a poem then all of a sudden...poof.. Its gone it exited me of the app and all my hard work was gone..I RECOMMEND NOT GETTING IT

Horrible app with devastating consequences. Ok so I never ever right reviews, but bc of the depression this app has caused me, I had to. I downloaded this app regardless of the bad reviews. I thought they were exaggerating. So I sat down very excited to begin writing. I love poetry. It was a perfect day and the inspiration was at my fingertips. With much emotion and tears of hope, I wrote a very meaningful poem. It was deep, heart wrenching, soul shaking. I worked on it on and off throughout the day. Then in a split second out of no where, with no warning. My poem disappeared! This app is a thief. They stole my poem and now theyre gonna sell it and make a fortune. Also the app is crappily organized and it shuts down often. It turns skitzo and words appear from a previous poem. Dont waste ur time or money! True story tho!

Great app one thing I would add One thing I like about this app is that you can write your poems on your phone and other people can see your poems and give you feed back on your poem. I also like that you can hear everything that you write and see if you like how it sounds without having to read it. This is better than any other app like Pocket Poetry because other apps just let you write your poem and to be honest you can do that on notes on your iPhone I would rate this app a four stars because this app is good but if this app would have a place to revise it this app would be better.
