Poetreat - Write quick and simple bites of poetry App Reviews

So far so good. I just started using this again and so far I havent lost my work! I really enjoy this app, and I use it to study poetry, and not just my own writing. I hope (and wish) that the next step will be to display or help plan out metering. Similar to what it has done for rhyming schemes.

It opens in my iPad but I cant see any of the menus. Just a blank screen saying "No poem Selected"

Into this App I poured out my heart It deleted my effort And ripped it apart The prose was deep True, and sincere And in just one click It all disappeared I cant speak for others Ive no names to call But as for this App I will Just de in stall!

The app, even after you pay for it, doesnt archive your poems. Unless you plan to screen shot everything you do and copy it later, its a huge waste of time. Also, the syllable counter is wrong. This app is not worth anyones time.

I am very sorry, but I am extremely disappointed and surprised. I normally do not purchase "Free" apps. But I saw a YouTube video on this one and thought that it might help me in my work. I downloaded it and promptly opened up a page of nothing, nada, zilch. Yep! So where is the app? Your guess is as good, probably even better, than mine. Then I tried to go to the Developer Website. I did that through their webpage on the App Store. But my iPad was not able to connect, and I tried several times. But the page would not load. So who are these people? And its not even Halloween!

Seriously!! For the five seconds that I remember a poem or quote, I put it on Poetreat. Close the app and open it a couple minutes later, the whole thing is gone!! Maybe they should put "will delete every single important thing" in the description. Thanks, Poetreat for letting me down and aiding me in forgetting every creative word in my vocabulary

Lots of fun, and delightfully smart about rhyming. Bonus points for not having a blue icon!

Being in the tech world since University, I lost touch with my poetry and writing side. This app has made it fun again. The design is amazing, and so intuitive. You can build any kind of poem, and the rhyming it provides is awesome.

Suggests rhymes which is fine but you cant save unless you pay. Think ill use a notebook instead.

Would love to use this app but cant... It wont load in iOS 7.

Also crashes on ios7 would really like to use it but simply cant

Used this app with glee for two days. Then I got iOS 7. Now its taking up space.

This app keeps deleting my stuff when I close it. This is bs I want my money back

Doesnt save even after paying. Please fix

This would be a great app, if it functioned properly and didnt have so many coding issues. As an application and web designer the layout is beautiful the tools are useful, but there are clear coding and bug issues that need to be fixed. Would rate 5/5 but the fact that even after upgrading it still crashes and runs incredibly slow, seems like the developer needs to dive back in and fix a few things.

I wrote 2 poems and lost them when I closed the app...didnt see a save option, and its supposed to automatically save to cloud. Also there is no help button or anywhere to explain how app works...not fussy on app...wish it was free then I coulda figured out how it worked before losing my poems! Not nice!

Whats wrong with you guys, fix the damn thing man... It doesnt work.

Wrote one poem. Tried to unlock the app as I wanted to save more than 3, unlock feature does not work. Tried multiple times, gave up a week ago - went to try again today and noticed my poem is gone.
